Sunday Sangha
Sunday Sangha is a weekly online gathering for practice and community. It is open to all: Shri Gaia graduates and to the wider yoga community, offering a way to maintain a consistent practice with our unique methodology and stay close to the teachings from anywhere in the world.
Each week, a different Shri Gaia senior teacher leads the practice, bringing their own experience while working within our unique teaching methodology.

What Makes Our Classes Different
At Shri Gaia Institute, every class is designed to cultivate the Sattvic Effect — a state of balance, clarity, calmness, and full awareness. Our methodology brings together intelligent movement, breath, philosophy, and meditation through three guiding principles:
Intentional
Every class has a clear purpose. Asana, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy are woven together around a central theme, creating a coherent practice with direction and meaning.
Intelligent
Our approach is grounded in biomechanics, anatomical variation, functional alignment, and carefully structured sequencing. Movement progresses in a way that respects how different bodies are built and prepares the body intelligently for each stage of the practice.
Inspiring
Yoga becomes a space for awareness, self-inquiry, and deeper connection. Classical philosophy, mindful attention, breath, and meditation give the physical practice greater context and invite students to carry its effects beyond the mat.
Together, these principles create a practice that is physically intelligent, energetically balanced, and deeply integrated — supporting the Sattvic Effect at the heart of the Shri Gaia methodology.
